Trainings+Seminars in Great Britain

Practical training you can apply in practice!

Pepperl+Fuchs is ideally placed to provide knowledge and expertise via our dedicated trainers to those companies and individuals working in potentially explosive and challenging environments.

For 2009, we have significantly enhanced our training and seminar program to include several one day events on the following topics:

Explosion Protection (ATEX)
The seminar will cover manufacturer and operator responsibilities, as well as relevant standards (equipment characteristics, installation, inspection and maintenance), and is ideal for management, engineering, production and safety personnel requiring ATEX training.

Intrinsic Safety (IS)
Intrinsic safety requires special care with regard to safe energy limitation. The goal of this seminar is to convey Functional principle, Installation fundamentals, and the Inspection and Maintenance of intrinsically safe installations, as well as applicable European standards.

Functional Safety (SIL)
EN 61508 sets the basis for the planning, set-up and operation of electrical and electronic protection measures. The goal of the seminar is to give an overview of the fundamental principles and methods, the most important terms and definitions, and how to interpret them.

Fieldbus Technology
The seminar imparts fundamentals, techniques and characteristics of different field busses in automation technology. Designers, engineers, technicians and anyone interested in gaining an overview of fieldbus technology will find the seminar very informative and rewarding.

Remote I/O Fundamentals
The training provides the basics of Remote I/O for applications in process automation. Using practical examples, the seminar is directed at engineers, technicians and specialists who would like to get started in Remote I/O technology.

Who should attend?

The program targets management, engineering, production and safety personnel involved in equipment design and use, where potentially explosive atmospheres are present.
